Nuventix to show (Booth #52) and present at LED 2007

As the LED industry matures with growth rates reaching 15-20% per year and projected to grow to as high as $7 billion in just three years, LEDs are increasingly being adopted as backlight systems in LCDs - showing a shift in the distribution of revenues from more traditional markets to exciting new ones. The display market has large growth potential and will be a steady revenue source until LEDs break into the illumination market in an estimated 2-5 years. Not only are LEDs becoming a favorite for LCD TV screens, but HP and Apple are integrating LED BLUs (backlighting units) in to some of their laptops. Other key applications that are gaining strength include camera flashes, projection displays, and automotive headlamps with Ferrari utilizing LEDs in their new headlamp systems. Also, with the advent of several bans on incandescent lighting, LED manufacturers may be able to capture the general illumination market much quicker than expected.
