Updated Guide – Thermal Solutions for Philips Fortimo
Nuventix has updated its guide to Philips Fortimo LED Modules. It now includes Fortimo SLM Gen II and Fortimo DLM Gen III products. The guide is an easy cross reference tool for passive or active cooling solutions for the Fortimo DLM, Fortimo SLM, Fortimo Twistable, and Fortimo LLM.
In addition, the new higher power Spotlight Cooler 70W has been added. This solution can handle 90W of LED input power dissipating up to 70W thermally. Perfect for high power spotlights, downlights, and low bay applications.
As with all of our Guides by Light Engine Manufacturer, the cross reference tables also indicate for what ambient condition the solution is rated using a color coded scheme. All solutions are listed in open air, however, solutions in green are rated for over 40C ambient providing margin in the cooling solution for enclosures, sleeves, or other obstructions to SynJet or Passive air flow.
