Product Marketing Manager

Job Description
The position is the Product Marketing Manager for Nuventix.  We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, Product Marketer to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Nuventix's LED SynJet Cooling products. This person will be Nuventix's voice for LED thermal management products to internal and external audiences including sales and service, industry analysts, media and customers. They will define the go-to-market strategy.  The role will work closely with program management, engineering, manufacturing and sales, to ensure the proper market offerings and messaging for these critical products. This position requires a thorough understanding of lighting industry, and an understanding of the LED market would be an additional benefit.  Ideally this candidate would have strong knowledge of all of these industries but especially the lighting industry. The candidate would also have experience launching new products through definition and execution of a go-to-market plan. 

Role/Responsibility:
ˇ        
Establish overall positioning and go-to-market strategy for the LED SynJet products, including the indoor, outdoor, signage, and architectural lighting.
ˇ         Remain current and provide updates on the lighting industry, LED trends, and issues as they relate to the product offering as well as emerging technologies, standards, and market trends.
ˇ         Work closely with customers, sales, product management, and industry marketing to define the Go-to-market strategies.
ˇ         Create messaging, positioning, competitive analysis and sales tools, and provide sales support and escalation for deals contributing to customer wins.
ˇ         Support new product proposals using business cases based on new and existing products to be presented to executive staff for approval and investment.
Evangelize the LED SynJet cooling products and ensure visibility and priority across industry marketing programs, messaging, and initiatives.
ˇ         Serve as the product expert to the field, including product sales training, product evangelism and speaking/print opportunities.
ˇ         Work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify market requirements.
ˇ         Work with product management to build out the road map and define pricing/packaging of the solution.
ˇ         Identify strategic go-to-market partnership opportunities and execute partner marketing strategies.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
ˇ         BS required. Technical or Marketing undergraduate degree preferred  
ˇ         MBA is a plus
ˇ         5 or more years experience in product marketing/ product management
ˇ         Overall Experience: 7-10 years or equivalent experience
ˇ         Demonstrated success managing an end to end product release
ˇ         Product marketing experience working with high performance components preferred

ˇ         Ideally this candidate would have strong knowledge of the Lighting and LED industry, and the ecosystem of companies which deliver lighting products to the end customer.
ˇ         Product Management experience launching new products through definition and execution, forecasting/pricing, go-to-market plans, prioritization, outbound marketing with the above requirements
ˇ         Experience of a go-to-market plan.
ˇ         Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations.
ˇ         Ability to gather data from the market and customers to analytically determine go-to-market priorities
ˇ         Desire for on-going challenges and interest in continuously learning about new technologies.
ˇ         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences.
